Passing a local resolution in your town or city is a powerful step that you can take to build the movement for CalCare and Medicare for All. Here are some tools to help you pass a local resolution in your community.
Steps to Pass a Resolution:
- See If An Effort Is Already Taking Place in Your City/Town
- Plan a Virtual Organizing Meeting to Get Started
- Plan a Meeting with Your Council Member or County Board Member
- Plan for the Passage of Your Resolution
- Submit your Town’s Resolution to the California Assembly and Share the Resolution with your State and Federal Legislators
