Holderness, NH Town Hall

Exciting news for Holderness! At this year’s town meeting on Wednesday, March 11, there will be an opportunity for residents to vote in favor of a petition article to support Medicare for All.

Activists in Holderness worked through rain and snow to gather petitions for this article, so that Holderness can show leadership in urging New Hampshire’s delegation in Washington to sign on to the Medicare for All bills in the House and the Senate. If these bills are passed, there will be a major decrease in town property taxes. You can read the Warrant Article here (look for Article 14).

The Town Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 11 at 7PM at Holderness Central School Auditorium (Note: Not the Town Hall), at 19 School Rd, Holderness, NH 03245. Article 14 is at the end of the program, and will probably be heard around or after 8:30 PM.

We urge you to attend the Town Meeting to vote in favor of the article. There will be opportunities to speak, if you would like to testify during the meeting.
